Game Freezes During Loading

Whenever I try to load up a save ever since Alpha 9, I get a 'rimworldgame(version).exe has stopped responding.' What is going on?

your computer specs may be very low, or your computer is on overload, go boot up task manager and leave rim world running in the background and check the cpu usage.
before doing any of that wait about 5 minutes since the same thing happened to me

It's also likely your save game file is corrupted. If you post an output log (see the stickied thread in this post) I could look into it further.
