Equipment Rack - wtf?

Not having used them, i have one question before passing judgement on them.... are they compatible with a trade beacon?

I would like equipment racks a lot more if I could also store the following: Kevlar Helmets, Power Armour Helmets, Military Helmets, Armour Vests, Power Armour, Personal Shields. To my mind, all those items are more equipment than apparel. I would also like to see them, or something like them, for storing Artillery Shells, it always seems a bit odd to me to have them just lying around.

Pretty sure you can. It seems to have the same menu as stockpiles.

I would use them if they could store several different item per case.
But something tell me Z-axis storage is a big can of man-eater worms.

I created a mod that allows to storage apparels in the equipment racks.

well you they could always just add Armour stands and such although it would be a bit of a waste putting a Kevlar helmet on an Armour stand that can only hold one item and not a full suit of Armour
and for the shells you mean like a ammunition box? i guess that would be good instead of mini stockpiles near mortors
