Why do people want rimworld to be like every other game out there and have FOW?  I came to rimworld because it does NOT have FOW, and I get to play with full information, to make intelligent and stupid decisions.

If rimworld becomes just like every other game out there, it will be lost, and tynan will not continue to update it.

I too don't like FOW, but Jesus, this would be only a option.

A lot of people WANT FOW, so Rimworld wouldn't be lost. Rimworld would be just... another game.

A lot of people WANT FOW, so Rimworld wouldn't be lost. Rimworld would be just... another game.

just another game lost in a sea of games, that all have the same mechanics, same play, nothing different, that people will see, and say, just another game, nothing here, I will spend my money somewhere else.

And no it is NOT a lot of people want FOW, it is a FEW vocal people want FOW... so that rimworld is just like every other game they play, nothing different, nothing challenging, just another AI surprise arrives from the FOW.
I hope rimworld NEVER becomes like every other game.
