So anyone found any decent lets plays for Rimworld? I ask because every time I try a new channel on youtube it invariably gets me annoyed because the players do not understand the game mechanics and then whine when the game mechanics punish them. Such as the guy who ran his drafted troops around in a clump them moaned when the guys at the back capped the guy at the front in the back of the head.

Equally another common theme has been: Raid happens> Player ignores it (Either only drafting one guy or "my turrets will save me!")> They get into difficulties> Blubbing.

So anyone got any recommendations?

I like his lets plays, but some of the stuff he does makes me want to scream. Like having his prisoners in a small, dark and cold cell and then wondering why he can't recruit them...

Ok I'll admit I'm a fussy viewer. I've seen most of those youtubers, and had the inner Rimworld nerd screaming at me for most of it.

Not seen adventure's stuff, and he has a facecam (one of my pet hates on Youtube). But at least his voice isn't annoying. I'll give him a whirl.

But keep the suggestions coming.

I've been wondering if there is an LP with CR somewhere out there. Would be interesting to see how other players approach that mod.

you do realize that the prisoner recruiting mechanics is very simple. above 34% mood for the prisoner, then it is the recruitment difficulty of the prisoner, and the ability of your warden... Prisoner mood does not improve your chances after the 34%.... Most of blitzs recruitment problems stem from his lack of strong wardens.
