Uninstall, reinstall heaters

DL;DR: Heaters should be considered small furniture and have the reinstall/uninstall options.

It seems kind of wierd that you can't "move" a heater. Is this intentional as some sort of penalty or is it just to big of an oven to justify moving it? It makes it really expensive to reorganice heat solutions.

Besides, why can you install and reinstall a 3x1 flatscreen but not a 1x1 oven. Or a 2x2 solid statue made of gold?

+1, this was probably just an oversight, you can reinstall batteries and they keep their meta data of how much power they have stored so there should be no problem with heaters, worst case you can just wipe the meta data on uninstall and set them up again on re-install, not the biggest inconvenience.

I'd really like it if we could reinstall everything.  Even a workbench should be movable.  It's fine if I have to pay a small penalty in installation costs, but it sucks wanting to move a stove and having to utterly destroy the original to salvage a few parts.

+1, ++1 for reinstalling all everything that isn't a wall or floor, the only cost should be time of un/re-installation really, let me steal me some pirate motors  ;D

I very much agree, particularly now that Components is a thing I often run out of, I am very frustrated we can't just 'move' things like cook stoves or other things.  I often hold off making electric stoves or electric tailoring stations until I have better rooms built for cooking/production so I know where my walls will wind up, etc., to I can avoid wasting Components by building one only to later Deconstruct and build another one elsewhere.

It might be nice to have workstation quality, too -- could even rebalance this to encourage not making fancy shmancy electric stations stuff at the start until your Constructors have mastered their construction skill, but that's a bit of a tangent.

What about reinstalling turrets ? What if Combat Suppliers sold some military grade turrets you can install ? No I don't think those improvised turrets would interest them except for laughs.

I see no reason why turrets shouldn't be reinstall-compliant as much as anything else.

Agreed. I think most things should be moveable - big stuff could have to be 'de-constructed' then re-constructed at the new spot.

Note that it would encourage making use of the "room type recognition" feature that was added before.
