Whats the best Vanilla Weapon to Subdue Pawns ?

Well Topic Says it all :

Whats the best Vanilla Weapon to Subdue or knock out Pawns ?

even my melee Zero guys end up just killing the enemy.

And before you ask :) No bladed Weapons where used so far. Pistols, Bows, Logs, Fists ..

Maxim 37 : There is no overkill. There is only open fire and reload.
Rule 34 of Rimworld :There is a mod for that.

Really If I want to subdue someone, I just try and punch them barehanded....and pray a little.

I tried that, and they always died.

Wooden logs seemed to have done the trick,
Next time I will try really crappy wooden shivs and clubs.
I think shoddy shivs are the way to go :)

on top of it, she has asthma .. this has to be the worst pawn I have ever seen.

Fists on low melee skill level is probably best choice

Well if it's colonists who go berserk I'll usually have a bunch of my gun wielding colonists beat them and they'll go down like that.

In my case the Pawns I wanted to capture came from the Ancient Cryocaskets.

The colony had 5 members at that time, and the casketeers would double that.

Most of them where friendlies I just could capture, but one resisted arrest and one was hostile.
As always, those where the ones I wanted.

So I captured all runners before the one hostile could shoot them, but the hostile one always died :)
Until I tried wooden logs.

The crackpot Pyromaniac was one of them, got beaten to death by her fellow inmates on her second Berserker Rage.

I tried the wooden shivs on the pirates that attacked shortly after, but against body shields and plaststeel swords thats not really a good idea :)

My berserkers get beaten up the same way everybody else does it, but at this time they are better equipped than the one guy raids and can take the punishment.

I would still try without a weapon. Build walls around them and wait until they fall unconscious from exposure or starvation, then immediately send someone to capture them.

I could have closed off my Airlock in front of the Burial Chamber,
but then the scarabs would have eaten my recruit.

If I can lock in Berserkers I do it.
