I have no areas

am I missing something here? Why do the animal areas and others not exist? They are blank (invert option lights the whole screen, opposite of not being there at all)

There is Animal Area 1 in the list, along with any I can create/rename, but can't find any control to specifically place them on the map...

I you click on the Architect menu, and then select the Zone/Area sub-menu, two of the options available should be "Expand Allowed Area" and "Clear Allowed Area". These allow you to create/remove the allowed areas for your Colonists and Animals.

argh how did I miss that? I even waited a while before asking cause I figured it should have been simple enough to figure out
