Leech farms...

  So, I was just wondering whether there could be leech farms set-up
to be raised on the blood of dead raiders. Could there also be medieval torture devices to extract the blood from such dead raiders? I mean, I don't think there needs to be an alternative for such but it would be cruel to have former mineshafts rented out as leech farms.
