[A15 unstable] Batteries

My batteries are exploding although they aren't connected ... but I am not to sure to report this issue like a bug

Anyone can confirm this?

In this simple setup both batteries are exploding (zzz event) and my power switch is off

The zzz event is caused by having a cable connected to a battery. If you place the switch directly next to the battery and have no cables connected to it, you will not have a discharge ever. Also just incase, check to make sure they are inside, snow and rain will causes them to short out.

No, they will still explode if you have the switch turned on.  When the switch is turned off, there is no chance of explosion from what I can tell.  After losing a whole greenhouse to a fire in my first big colony, I've started using separate batteries rooms with a switch to turn them off when they aren't needed, and only running power conduits through stone walls, preferably with no flammable items adjacent.  Fire is scary in Rimworld  ;D
