I think it would be cool if you colony could get a rep like a pimps or something with good and bad if you choose to leave an incapicated person to die or eat another human being you could get bad rep and more raiders would come better geared and not run as easy plus more slave traders but less farming/metal sales but if you were to save said hurt person and let them join you could get good rep and it could give new messages for like "a ship is passing by and is starving give food yes or no and your rep would be show through your actions and the worst rep you colony gets the darker and more twisted it gets like black market dealers who come by land and have a chance of trying to steal just an idea

sorry if it was unclear/bad grammer

If im right, reputation will be in Alpha 3, not sure how exactly though.

Sounds like FTL: Faster Than Light-style random events.

I like how this game can result in quotes that would be quite unnerving when said in public, out of context. - Myself

The dubious quotes list is now public. See it here

There is a concept of faction relations in A3. E.g. if you harm people from a faction (to take their stuff or arrest/recruit them), their faction will hate you and may attack you, be assholes about trading, refuse to help you when you're attacked, and so on. This is mostly in the game in the testing version (though it's very rough so far).

I think everybody feels like that the first time you respond to one of their posts. I did, even though I already knew you were pretty active on here.  It's just awesome to be involved with the process. :P

'tis why I'm here. Whilst playing I've had many ideas for features/changes and they'd never make it into the game if they stayed as ideas in my head, so I registered to share them. After all, I've bought the game during Alpha stages so it just makes sense to get involved and possibly have some influence over the direction it goes in.

It's nice that developers are getting actively involved with the players and responding to their suggestions/comments/criticisms these days, although that's likely due to so many going down the "open paid Alpha" route of late. I like it, it allows me to invest into games I'm interested in whilst having the benefit of being able to make suggestions or whatever that I'd otherwise be unable to make (because, you know, it's finished or something).

So yeah, keep up the good work, Tynan! 8)
