Lots of good gear there, just wasting away...

Not just ignoring the buff or modding it away, put some effort in it. First make some soap, or something, then "wash" off the debuff but maybe re-forging the item again, with the same hp and quality.

The Mending mod does this by default; you can toggle "mend dead man's clothes only" in the bills for the table.
