"Tablet mode" ?

I've been starting to play this on other devices, including my Surface tablet, and my older HP Touchpad with Linux running on it.

The game plays quite well on touch devices when it comes to using the architect menus and building.  However, if there was a way to switch to a tablet mode, it would be awesome.  The biggest thing is the speed buttons are very tiny and hard to touch, which make it hard in a panic to try pausing because there's no keyboard to mash the spacebar.  Also, the main menu running along the bottom could be a little taller.  If those two simple changes were done, it would open the game up even more for tablets!

Now I don't mean a permanent change, I mean the option to switch to larger buttons or not.  The Surface isn't too bad, but the HP has a 10" screen, so some of those buttons are tiny.

Also, could a control input be added for "pinch to zoom"?  I think Unity already supports this.
