Longtime fan, firs time poster.. In a bit of a rl hurry so I don't have time to check if this is already done..

But as we all probably know you put storage as first priority your people do their best to fill that thing up as quickly as possible... Now I like raising animals,  including chickens, LOTS of chickens. Unfortunately they eat all my grass so I have to set up a food trough.. I have one fill up with hay and the other with kibble... It works fine, my grass grows, no more ugly barren dirt... Unfortunately when you have 30+ of them, they gobble it up quickly and in quick succession, so I end up with my haulers constantly filling it up and not hauling other things. This also applies to my prison's food supply as well(at its peak it was 11 prisoners versus 6 colonists)..

If this hasn't been suggested already I would like to see some sort of adjustable threshold allowing me to set a minimum amount of empty space in the storage space before my colonists try and restock it.. This so I don't have my haulers running back and forth every time I have a chicken eat 2 kibble. I imagine it making my guys way more efficient since I would set it to something like 75  so they get maximum output per each trip.

TY gotta go

Like the "Pause until x" threshold that was incorporated for crafting and cooking bills? I like the idea a lot.

This would be a nice improvement, as haulers tend to get stuck next to smokeleaf joint rollers or similar fast paced crafters, hauling one item at a time back and forth to the main stockpile.  It's terribly inefficient.
