Pawns will not auto haul

Despite turning every other thing off and turning hauling to 1 on numerous pawns, they will not Autohaul. The colonists will go idle instead of hauling, and they will only haul if I force them to haul. They will not continue to haul after getting the one thing that I specifically commanded. I do not how to resolve this issue, and it is both frustrating and difficult to play because of al the things that need to be hauled. I am wondering if others have had this issue and how to fix it.
