I'm pretty sure Tynan wasn't lying about it.  Howzabout you do it yourself, if it bothers you so much?
Thanks, belgord!

It absolutely does, my current colony has a pawn that once was inflicted with 2 scar (either torso and eye or neck... can't remember) and also brain dmg. About a year later it all disappeared.

In late game your colony can easily support 1 luciferian addict. You should be swimming in silver anyway that if you buy the max amount from each time it's available you should have a big stock pile of them in no time. I currently have 5 years worth of supply and passed on buying anymore of it the last two times it was avaialbe for purchase.

Quick query JOOI: if lucy cures brain dmg does it also clear the savant trait?

Trauma savant is an applied def, but I don't believe there's any actual check to remove said def if the damage is healed. Wouldn't be surprised, considering how much of an edge-case it is.

The only obvious choice here is to give all your colonists luci and shoot 'em in the head till the savant event triggers. Maximum efficiency.

It's almost irresponsible not to do it.

great, it works. It was the 18th day on luciferium, and one of scars was healed. And it was burn scar on eye.

Also make sure you don't store it in a zone accessible by animals. I had put down quite a few luciferium addicted huskies...
