updating regarding a16 mods to a17

so someone from the steam workshop on asari a16 epoe patch that you can manually edit the a16 to work on a17, by removing a couple of lines...

so im not sure which files is needed to be edited and which lines needs to be removed...

and is this likely going to be similar on editing a16 mods into a17?? i wanted to add a jaffa stargate mod, but its still on a16.. and some mods i like are still on a16 too, and i wanted to play them into a17..


any tips will be greatly appreciated..

This isn't a question that can be answered with any sort of "one size fits all" response. The comment you read that said something could be updated "by removing a couple of lines" was talking about one specific mod. It was not making a universally-applicable statement.

Some a16 mods can be updated to a17 with nothing more than a minor tweak or two to an XML file. But those tweaks won't be the same in every case. Other mods require extensive changes to assembly code. It all depends upon the mod in question.
