Hi,

I've got a little suggestion (sorry if it was proposed somewhere else, I just got tired of searching) about graves. Currently I didn't find a way to memorize a dead colonist whose body has been lost. So the brave firefighter trying to save food stockpile or a helpful dog which, after his death, was cooked instead of being buried due to food shortage (caused by the fire in the food stockpile which the firefighter mentioned above didn't manage to save  :'() have been forgotten. It's purely aesthectic, but I just felt like I need to bury them somehow, even wothout the body. In DF you can craft a memorial from a stone slab and I would like to see something similar in RimWorld

Buddy, you do know that you can build a coffin which displays then name the contained person/animal, right? Plus, you could've built graves in a separate place for your colonists and animals.

The body was destroyed.

However, there is a backup feature for colonist memorials already in the game. In the production menu, under the architect tab, you can build a sculptor's table, which you can use to make sculptures. If you're lucky, the artwork with portray an event from the life of the colonist in question. However, if you do have their body in the future, just build a sarcophagus, under the Misc menu in Architect, and assign the dead colonist to that coffin, assuming that you still have their corpse. When they're put in the coffin, it will immediately spawn an artwork portraying an event in life of the colonist in question.

That would be nice,id like to make some kind of thing in the memories of lost colonists, maybe an awnser to this problem is that when you make a statue you have the option to make it about acertain colonist
Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.

There should be a "grave sign/plaque" item. It can be installed next onto a grave or a sarcophogus, but the difference is that you can write what you want on it. Therefore even destroyed bodies can be remembered.

"Here lies Tynan: His organs help keep the colony alive"

or something like that.

I know about this, I've already had an artwork showing my main doctor having a bionic hand installed, but that's not something I would consider a memorial for the dead one.

Maybe I haven't spent that much time with the game yet, but trust me, I know what to do with dead bodies. That's not what my suggestion is about.

Anyway, thanks for the answers.
