How do you deal with blight? I always designate the blighted crops and all the crops around it to be cut, but that doesn't seem to do it. My entire field becomes blighted.

Really with those with the growing labor would deal with it automatically so I don't have to keep toggling them to make plant cut a higher priority than usual just to get them to deal with blight.

I start by pausing. Then I double click the zone so all effected fields are selected. Disable sowing. Then I zoom in and look for all the blight. It has one or three graphics of slightly different sizes. If you have any question, the blighted info displays bottom left on the tile info. The next step depends on my work setup. If I don't have anyone that does growing first, I crank everyone up to one on plant cut until it is done.

Don't forget to enable sowing after.

My advice is the same, prioritise plant cutting with at least 3 people and you won't have a problem. Make sure plant cutting is higher than any other task they might want to do.

I flag the blight for cutting then chain shift click my cutter to cut all the blight out at once.

you deal with it the same way you deal with fire - mobilizing your entire force and plant cut priority 1.

I never had a problem with it and usually can deal with it w/o it spread ti even the next tile.

in case you don't know - it's not only the grower can cut, everyone that can do dump labor can cut.

LOL, damn I *keep* forgetting about the new shift-clicking feature! Still keep micro-ing that one at a time! argh!
