[B18][Linux] System freezes when panning camera to certain map locations (!!!)

Bizarre one...  I've actually been noticing this bug since A17, although I've finally been able to reproduce it reliably.

System details:
Ubuntu 16.04 (latest updates)
nVidia geForce GTX 880M
Plenty of RAM/CPU/HDD
64 bit A18 version, launched with or without OpenGL fix
Reproducible when launched from Steam, or directly from executables or from console.


Circumstances:

On some maps, when panning the screen (either edge scrolling or with keyboard) to certain locations, the entire system locks up and freezes- only fix is a hard reboot of the entire system.  On the attached map, it happens when panning the view to the top right corner of the map.

I can't reproduce this on my other B18 maps so far (although I have experienced it intermittently), but I can recreate it every time on the attached one.  Mods are disabled.

Steps to reproduce

1) Load attached map ("Entedhope (Permadeath).rws")
2) Pan camera view to top right of map

Save file link below and log attached.  Unfortunately it appears no specific error is logged before the system freezes and has to be rebooted.
