Tattered Apparel

Is there any way to make your pawns swap clothes when the stuff they're wearing starts degrading?  It seems a bit of a pain to sit there and have each pawn drop what they're wearing, mend it, and then pick it back up.

In the manage outfits window , you can select an outfit and raise the lower limit of the out fits hit points to 50 and anyone wearing that outfit will automatically take the tattered apparel to a stockpile even if it leaves them naked

Woh, you can mend specific clothing? I also just had tailors make a bunch and the colonists will swap out what is tattered by default. Didn't know you could drop something and then mend it.

I think OP is using mods. I'm pretty sure you can't unless thats a new A15 thing.

No rest for the staggeringly ugly and abrasive, I guess.

Your colonists should swap out tattered clothing to decent clothing automatically.

I have found, though, that the newer clothing needs to be in a stockpie zone for them to 'be aware' of it. If it's just lying around, they don't appear to pick it up. As soon as it gets hauled to the right zone, they'll collect it and wear it.

I now build a tailor's workstation quite early, and make clothes as early game you don't have many raiders with good clothes to take, and you have time to slaughter herds and get their leather.

Nope no mending in A15. It's a mod.
Maxim 1   : Pillage, then burn
Maxim 37 : There is no overkill. There is only open fire and reload.
Rule 34 of Rimworld :There is a mod for that.

Thanks for the prompt response guys!

Yes, I'm running the "mending" mod which is EXTREMELY helpful.  It allows you to fix clothes, armor and weapons.

If you're running mods and you have a question about something can you please say which mods you have that might affect what you're asking about?

You are my hero. More than a year I've been angry about this, and because of you I can now properly deal with an irritation I've been dealing with as a "necessary evil".
