Disable shooting frenzy inspiration for melee only colonists

I keep getting shooting accuracy inspiration for colonists with very low shooting skill, very high melee skill, and melee weapons equipped.  It feels really strange, like a missed opportunity.

One (or all) of those signals could be used to disable that inspiration.

me too but i think it is funny to see brawler raiders with sniper rifles going crazy.
or do you get it in more extreme cases, like with a shooting 1, melee 7 guy?
to be honest though these traits arent exactly the best anyway. would you wanna go so much lower with your shots per minute just to have a bit more accuracy? the shots can still miss afterall but the time is lost anyway. on the other hand, a pawn that shoots all over the place is quite dangerous for yourself aswell and those additional shots are less likely to hit the target.
to me it always seemed like these two traits werent positive overall, but then again i didnt make test with them either
i just dont expect them to be better at shooting overall
surely you dont need to rebutcher corpses that you already half butchered if you leave the table to smoke a joint real quick?

I'm not talking about the careful shooter / trigger happy trait, I'm talking about the high mood bonus "shooting frenzy" inspiration you randomly get that gives you +gun accuracy for a few days.

Agreed, It's useless inspiration on brawler. They should pop up based on weapon equip at that time. Imo, those who carry melee may get brawling inspiration (increase hit chance for melee) while colonist with ranged weapon get the same shooting inspiration. Those who don't carry any weapon will get other inspiration instead (work frenzy, go frenzy, etc).

Brawlers aren't melee only, they only strongly prefer melee to ranged but there is the problem that someone who hates ranged weapons gets inspired to use them. So yeah it should be disabled.

No, definitely wrong. It is a great opportunity to develop characters capability on both types. You just use the frenzy for its lasting duration and then just switch back to normal.

Some people will find an opportunity to every problem.
Some people will find a problem to every opportunity.

Still like I said it doesn't make sense for someone who gets a massive debuff for carrying a raged weapon to be inspired to do something they seriously hate.
