[W|Alpha 4e] Crafters won't use hauled materials

I set up a stockpile of rock debris right next to my stonecutter table. I set the bill to "make until 100", set the radius to include just the stockpile, and nothing happens. I open the radius to max (9999) and the crafter finds rock debris that is far away and begins crafting stone blocks, but ignores the stockpile of rock debris right behind him.

I have reproduced the same problem with the logs.

Am I missing something here?

Maybe it's because the stockpile is under a roof? I don't remember that ever being an issue but try putting it outside and seeing if that works.

I can't really tell from the video but is your stonecutting table part/on top of the stockpile (If you can even do that, I'm not sure)?. If so try deleting the stockpile where the table is, maybe it doesn't recognize the stone as an object to use. Have you tried deleting the stockpile altogether, wonder if it would make a difference.

My guess is something to do with the stockpile itself, check the stockpile's priority? could also try moving the workbench, I recall there has been a few issues with location when it comes to these things back in alpha 3.

The table is not on top of the stockpile, and I tried deleting the stockpile completely. No change.

Nope, tried changing the priority, no dice. And I've done similar setups to this going back to early A3, never had any problems before.

What about putting the stockpile outside of the building? Also does the stockpile have a home region set over it? I was just playing recently and saw 1 colonist grab metal from far away rather than my stockpile. I didn't have the stockpile set in my home region at the time, so I changed it, and he started grabbing it from the stockpile again. This only happened once and I haven't tried recreating it yet but check that its part of the home region. I have no idea if there is a priority list for home regions or not, just a thought.

Not running any mods or anything that could interefere?...

If not, I suppose uploading the save to see if others can reproduce it would be a logical step.
