I recently downloaded a thing called Rimifier from rimifier.codeplex.com which with the codeplex part I can trust since it is a Microsoft thing but is it safe I tried opening it and it didn't open which leads me to believe it is a hidden scam. I am very paranoid and would like insight please reply anyone :P.

I scanned it 3 times and it doesn't seem to be a virus I scanned it with Norton, Avast, and MalwareBytes and they haven't detected anything I am going to call it safe but I am not going to use it.

It seems legit. It doesn't seem to load my save files but that's because it's heavily outdated and probably only works with some pre-alpha version.
If it's not running at all for you, it's probably because it targets .NET Framework v4.5.1 or you forgot to install the dependencies. Though it also seems to load pretty slow when it does work, probably due to a combination of VB.NET, being compiled non-natively and using a lot of custom GUI components.

Yeah that would seem like a problem just with my paranoia I kinda freak out

Didn't read the whole thread, Pawnstorm hit it on the head.  Now I'm whistling and walking casually away acting innocent and in no way embarrassed :)
