Rimworld music

New to the forum and to the game. Hi everyone.

I'm really enjoying the in-game music and it's giving me a strong Age of Mythology vibe. Just wondering, was that an active influence on Rimworld's music?

If so, I have to say it was a brilliant call. It's well suited for the long sessions Rimworld (like AoM) encourage, remaining in the background but noticeable enough to be interesting.

Well done. AoM is among my favorite RTS games and Rimworld has managed to recapture some of that for me, at least in part due to the ambiance and music. I never thought I would enjoy base builders so much, and here I am playing the heck out of your game.

I'm not sure if he's inspired by any of those OST's but the guy himself (Alistair Lindsay - https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1371276/) certainly has been around long enough in the industry to have been inspired by it, not only that but he's also been doing scores for games and such since 2004 if I see correctly. I think he's contactable enough in various ways to ask him
