As the title says, if I start the game through steam it will always crash 2-3 seconds into the menu screen.

If I hit the executable myself, it doesn't even start. I have attached the crash.dmp, error, and output_log files to this post.

Also, it did this the last version of the game as well, but I just gave up after a bit rather than pursuing it further.

Please help, and let me know if you need any more info.

It's crashing in your Direct3D video card driver. I recommend updating your video card drivers.

Will move this to Support.

Thanks for the speedy reply, Tynan, and thanks for an awesome game.

I made sure I have the updated video card driver, and reinstalled the game just because. Still has the same issue.

Any more ideas?
I attached new error info.

Tynan, after perusing other posts on here with similar issues, I found that someone uninstalled MSI Afterburner, because it relies on Riva Statistics Tuner (or w/e it's called). Riva conflicts with Rimworld launch for some reason.

It works now!
Cheers!
