A flat earth MODel :P haha that would be nice, get the whole space theme outta the way and stick to simulation theory :P since you know this is a story simulator <3

Flat Earth and interstellar travel... *that* is a hard one for me to wrap my head around.

Are the drop pods giant turtle eggs?
If you give an annoying colonist a parka before banishing him to the ice sheet you'll only get a -3 penalty instead of -5.

And don't forget that the pirates chasing a refugee are often better recruits than the refugee is.

Well what I think he's asking for is actually more realistic than what we have right now, and that's that if you walk for a couple days you don't appreciably change your latitude.

Imagine starting in a desert, and then no matter how far you go you're still in a desert. Unless you caravan for 2-3 quadrums and then maybe you'll get arid shrubland.

Don't know how the spaceship would work for that. But I'd love to try playing in it.

I never got how pawns in the game could have such insanely bad reactions to such mundane things.
Then I came to the forums.

Well honestly they could be turtle eggs i suppose, but the second response was more towards what i was looking for just something sort of endless, that generates sector to sector sort of but in real time.  Also for the interstellar travel aspect, i mean come on that's as sci fi as it gets, so who's to say you're not just traveling through the matrix or the simulation and the plaid cgi you get over your ship whist going at light speed ( space balls ) is simply like a loading screen where you're just waiting for something to generate haha. My initial reason for this post is i just want a flat map when i generate a new world lol.. just easier to look at.

Why not, we all know Rimworld is full of ancient technology/artefacts. Think about the minable mashine or pasteel.
So it could be an artificial planet made by an old civilistion.
Basicly the 1. step towards a ringworld.

NPC faction bases that amounted to more than just outposts. In other words, some hand-made bases with proper defences and interesting layouts, that were still a challenge to take by the time you had the technology to reach them, and with at least some of the infrastructure that'd be required to support its inhabitants. As opposed to a procedurally-generated handful of rectangles.
