Do imprisoned colonists count as colonists for purposes of the raid size algorithm?

I'm wondering about this. They aren't in the colonists bar, but the character description still says they're a member of your faction.

Anybody know if imprisoning a colonist will cause the next raid to be smaller if it happens while the colonist is in prison?

Iirc they count as a standard prisoner, so something like 1/3 of a free colonist.

So the prisoner's raid strength contribution is a factor in "item wealth", I take it? So it's based on what's listed as his market price?
