Replacing Mountain/Hill Graphics on World Map

I am having difficulty replacing the graphics for mountains on the world map. As far as I can tell, they should be located at...

Textures\World\Hills\Impassable
...LargeHills
...Mountains
...SmallHills

However, replacing these graphics doesn't do anything for me. What am I doing wrong?

I can't find the path to those hills you mentioned, but what I found is a texture file for hills and it's named differently than you said.
It was in downloadable vanilla textures 1.0

The first word of the file name is the true part, the rest you can ignore.
