[1.1.2567 x64] "Sole survivor" childhood story retrospectively affects old saves

Maybe it's intended to be that way, but now my main melee character it unable to fight at all, violence is disabled due to this change in the "sole survivor" story. I also do not quite understand how exactly it logically affects usage of violence, looks totally opposite for me.

Yes, backstories update in-place. There have been a few back compatibility issues related to this. I'm sorry about those. It's not quite a bug but something we need to be conscious of in future. But, if a backstory is updated to remove an ability it's no different from a gun updating to remove an ability.
