hello everyone)
we've been playing this wonderful game for a long time now.
just bought a copy for another family member on Steam (1.1. without Royalty. meant to try multiplayer). installed some mods.
the game launches all right, lets us select a landing place and choose colonists, but when the gaming process itself starts (the pods with the colonists land), the game shows a Unity screen and crashes.
Please help us find out what the problem is!
I've seen several similar posts on the Internet, but no solution so far.
"Verify file integrity" on Steam shows no errors
Logs are attached, OS is Win7 32bit, video card is Nvidia Geforce GT730, graphics driver update didn't help.
Thanks a lot!)

Hi,
there are some duplicate entries
QuoteXML error: Duplicate XML node name statBases in this XML block: ....
so i think there are some leftover files at the installation (steam only check for current files not for old).
So i suggest you should delete the folder Data (not Rimworld...._data) and Mods and let rimworld repair it.
Be sure you just subscribe for 1.1 mods.
And maybe try it without Multiplayer at first.

I saw the active
C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\aswhook.dll
at the crash overview, and together with the crash reason
RimWorldWin.exe caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
it could maybe made a difference if the antivir is active or not.

thanks a bunch, i'll try it out)
the error shows up in single player game too( i'll have a look what happens with mo mods though)
we've got two other machines running Rim with the same mod list, no problems whatsoever) the hardware and software is different though

Ok, it could be a hardware problem too.
Since 1.1 Rimworld use a newer unity engine with higher requirements. And your video card is pretty old.
So it could be the reason for it, even when the crash log don't point at the video driver.
That you could start rimworld and generate a colony and load it speak against it. Normaly they can't even start rimworld when the videocard isn't enough anymore for the new unity.
