Trade how to get better prices

I dont understand the trade, I used a 6 social skill, all my sell prices are cheap then I got 11 social skill level still cheap... How do I trade?

The difference in price is small but exists. Had a Social 1 character walk up to the console, he would've sold metal for 0.78 a piece, a Social 10 character would've sold for 0.84. Numbers look unimpressive but it adds up when you sell in bulk.

The label on all your items "For this item, this is very cheap," is just something you have to ignore. You won't increase the price by much when the Social skill differences between your characters are small. Only other way to increase the money you get is by searching the type of trader that actually wants what you're offering, and then even within their classes they offer and charge different amounts.

If it's percentage based I imagine those big $5,000+ items get a good hit from a high social value.
