Help Downlaoding

So I just bought the full game for $30 and have downloaded the windows version (as I am currently using windows). The only problem is I don't know how to install it and start playing. What comes up is a file named RimWorld532Win and when I open it (double click) it comes up with more files: Mods, RimWorld532_Data, Source, Version, etc, etc. I am not very good at downloading stuff and if directions were supposed to come with the purchase I didn't get it. Please help me so I can play this awesome looking game! Thanks.

if everything is unpacked click the thing that looks like a game icon aka (the silver star)

i would suggest you install winrar and / or 7-zip on your machine, nowadays you need those extracting tools for many purposes anyway.

after that just rightclick on that file and click "extract here", of course i would put the file in an seperate "RimWorld" (or whatever you wanna call it) folder first.

after that in the folder you just extracted is a file named "RimWorld532Win", depending on your windows setting it may or may not have the addition ".exe". rightclick on that file and then "send to" -> "desktop". that way you have now a desktop link to run the game and you don't have to open up the folder every time you wanna play.

im having this problem too and i just cant figure it out. its getting kinda frustrating. im also trying what Xerberus86 said but it isnt working. if anybody has some help at this point in time, id love to hear it
