the game ends, does anything happens after that if I keep playing?

I do appologize if I missed out that this topic has allready been made, I was just wondering about.
When the game ends, and lets say all my collonists died, I get a choise to leave or keep playing, and the game states that my leftover building might be found usefull for someone else, does anything happen if i keep watching? will there eventually move others in to the camp? or is it just a mesege with not meaning yet?

After you die, all events like trade ships, drop pods, visitor, and raids all still function as normal. There is also an event, albeit rare, where a random wanderer joins your colony.  If you waited long enough, that would happen and you could continue to play.
