Why do colonists sleep outdoors?

I've had several games where the colonists keep sleeping on the ground even though I made them a barracks. In my latest game (attached), one guy sleeps inside and the other 2 sleep outside.

What causes this behavior? I understand they don't want to share a bedroom but that should still be better than sleeping on the ground. The 2 sleeping outside are still complaining that they are sharing a bedroom!

You still have the original sleeping spots. Once you remove those by selling them, they have nowhere else to sleep and use the beds inside.
