I feel that in the future after we update the game a bit we should add a IOS Version of the game so they can play where and whenever the players want I don't think it should be the same thing but different but still keep the main point of it but in a different style

This is way tooooo early for IOS Platforms. Is VERY hard to make a multi-platform game.If this game has a HUGE succses it might gona be on IOS or PS 4 but now is not the time.I see how it would work but a game this "new" to be on more the 1 platform(P.S. Platform means things like PC,Phones,Tablets,XboX Next, PS 1,PS ,PS 3, and more)If you make it multi-platform this early people are gona like it but after time it would hate it because there are not gona be updates like more turrets....um...more....STUFF....

So...

Wait until this game is heavly populated and Stable and heavly updated. After that it might go on consols and IOS.But not this early.

At the current time in development, Rimworld is rather processor heavy and unstable at times.
But I must agree that IoS would be a fair decision.

But at the moment porting it to IoS would be rather silly due to it's lack of power when compared to PC's that the game is having a hard time on already.
Then you need to consider that it would need to be updated alongside the main game on PC which with such a small team would then increase the build times from approx. 33 days to something much larger.

I like how this game can result in quotes that would be quite unnerving when said in public, out of context. - Myself

The dubious quotes list is now public. See it here

From past experiences, desktop games do not port very well to mobile platforms. They require a lot of simplification (especially in controls) in order for it to be playable, so they become essentially their own game. Otherwise, you might accidentally make a fat, greasy-fingered tap on the "arrest" button instead of the "go to" button.

Still, a "good" desktop port has been FTL. The game manages some things for you and some UI elements have been resized, but it's faithful overall.

Do not even mention FB (or any other social media) integration.. Developers should avoid integrating all those things like the plague.

They shouldn't, actually. Sure it's a pain for us with functioning brain cells, but it's money for them and it seems like many (too many if you ask me) feel it necessary or at least a "good addition", even though I feel like seeing my lunch again every time it happens... But anyway.

I'm too slow I guess, can't catch up with technology and society, I still don't use facebook until I plan on doing some drinking with friends, don't have twitter, don't have smartphone and I can live without internet too (for a while).
But that's enough off-topic. ;D

It'd be too soon in my opinion.
To beer or not to beer.
That is a laughable question.

This reminds me of the whole "Bad idea" thread we had a while back... or was that one we hijacked for the purpose?..

Also reminds me of when Blackjack1000K derailed threads with image macros.

Well I thought creating it while its in an early stage would be much easier to update than a large game
