[W|254b] black screen bug

Sometimes I get this screen:



I can scroll and zoom, but looks like the background is not redrawn. It is related to the game save file and I can reproduce it by loading the file. This is an example:

When I start a new colony, all is normal again.

Are you by any chance loading a save from an old version?

It is from RimWorld254Win.exe, 7th november, I assumed this is version 254b, or is there a newer version? I have version 250 installed, too, but I think I created this game file with version 254.

If you for instance made the game in version 250 and play it in 254 errors are likely.

Even if you make a savegame in 254 and play in 254b you will get errors.

I will check your game when i get home and see if there is a version mismatch.

Its possible that you have the 254 and not 254b. This bug is what happens when building on the edge of the map in 254. In the dev version of 254b, no errors are produced.

254b was released the same day (11/7) but build time is 9PM

I just clicked the send owl link again and there was magically the 254b release (I guess I downloaded it too early and got the 254 release). Now I can even play the old savegame without problems, thanks!
