Hey guys I want to start a new thread where everyone can share how their Killbox Design looks like. To make this a successful thread here is some basic help on how to post:

How to Post:


  • Try to crop your size to at least 800 pixels on each side
  • make a nice description of how your Killbox works

I like to make screenshots and then upload it to puush (link). Then put the picture in with the "insert picture" button so the picture itself is in my post and can have text under and over it.

Alright so here's my Killbox:



The only disadvantage in peaceful times it that the colonists have to make a "G" turn to get out of the base, which takes away 2 seconds of walking past the walls. On normal days the sandbags don't get in the way of the colonists at all.

By putting the doors in the lower right and left corner the focus of the raiders is on the turrets, which get repaired by unassigned colonists. The raiders go over the sandbags slowly and die off easily, if some survivors still make it through (by killing dozens of turrets) then there is the ultimate standoff with my colonists. :)

The best part of this killbox is that my colonists are not affected by the piles of sandbags but the raiders still totally step into them when attacking.
