Medical (Hospital) Bed Question

Regarding the Medical beds you unlock after research. I have a hospital area with wooden beds set to medical mode. If I replace one of the beds with a Hospital bed, will people who are injured and can walk go to them instead of the regular medical beds. Same with people who are injured but can't walk, will the people carrying them take them to the Hospital beds instead of the regular ones?

From my experience hospital beds (the researched ones) take priority over normal medical beds either for walking or rescuing.
