Yes. If you select the trap (stone, steel etc) in the architect menu then click the "i" for more information you'll see that each material does different damage.

I'm note sure is stone traps do blunt damage or sharp damage though. I usually use steel traps and they do a fair bit of sharp stabby-choppy damage.

A Friend

All traps do stab/sharp damage. I haven't checked if stone ones are fire resistant though.

I'd be surprised if they weren't.

Steel traps deal 30 damage. Stone ones deal 18, and take long to build. But hey, stone is a plentiful resource.

i don't recall the exact number, but plasteel traps do most damage.

i usually surround all my base with wooden traps and by my entrance doors an extra layer of plasteel traps

w = wall
d = door
1 = wood trap
2 = plasteel trap

Noticed that attackers will run along walls to attack doors.
Also mining and path through a hill and placing traps from base-ward (closest to home)
with a door that is always open (open) at the non-baseward entry point, to set to non-always open when raiders flee in that direction will give you a chance to knockdown fast walkers as well as gives you chance to fire at slower fleeing raiders.
Yes another god damn youtuber.
