Basically, when a bunch of raiders or tribals all start attacking the same spot, it makes it almost pointless building walls at all, because with that many fists all wailing at once it might as well be made of tissue paper. ;)

The only reason why they can do this at all is because they can all stack in the same space.

I second this, maybe max. two people could be smashing a single piece of wall at the same time. Three's a crowd and unlimited is just nuts.

I also discovered that if enemy pawns can get into your base by mining through a single-thickness rock wall, then they will give it a go even if their raid is not configured for sapping. I think that's intended, though, otherwise you could just have ridiculously-thin rock walls for your base defences.

Those stacks also soak up gunfire like nothing else, while on the other hand being ridiculously susceptible to explosive/fire damage.
But I think the pathfinding AI will have some issues when it comes to factoring in the collision with other pawns.

I don't think it'd be very difficult to do as there is a similar system for your colonies drafted colonists as in them not standing on rock chunks or on trees for that matter. Then again I know next to nothing when it comes to code.
Claims to know most things.

I've been considering just putting an IED in the tight corridor beyond the front gate next time this happens. But I dunno, feels a bit exploitative. In the meantime I've added chokepoints and deadfall traps to the perimeter and, also turned down the difficulty a bit.
