Is there a list of the special characters?

I didn't realize it at first until today when reading the forums. Some of the characters and names are unique? Is there a place to find out who they are or more info on it?

I can't really remember all of em right now, but I know Mie the assassin, Engi the engineer, Ian herbalist.

There are loads.... each update adds more as more people buy an upgraded version to get their name in the game.

Off the top of my head, Engie, Emmie, Axle (assassin), "M", Redfields (pestguard), The VR designer guy, earth colonist/sole survivor guy, Feeb the test subject, Alyssa (core world jeweler), the new transgender bounty hunter one, there are at least 20 more...

All of the faction leaders are backer backgrounds as well, which is why you keep seeing the same names as faction leaders.

People can still upgrade? I thought that was a Kickstarter thing. I know Tynan has a large backlog to get through still.

It's possible he is still adding the kickstarter ones. I figured he'd be done with that by now.

You can find many of them by scrolling through the backstories in Prepare Carefully. Most of the backer stories are not written using the HIM, HIS, MALE, etc tags so they stand out.
