Installed Darkness Revamp, this is what I get.

Late at night, raining. Pack of man-hunting Wargs appears.
I had to manually select a big area to find them twice.
Boy, I sure hope a colonist doesn't disappear by dawn.

EDIT : Colony gets ass kicked, as they are getting mauled by Wargs a raid happens at the same time.  Only on Rimworld.

im interested in the mod, only thing is that id prefer it to have everything really dim and hard to see rather than what looks like undiscovered areas covering the screen

I remember there being a slightly brighter version. It's pretty dark but you can still spot things if you look carefully.

there is a lighter version, but even that was too dark for my monitor, you can go into the files and adjust the settings but its a PITA.
