Wool and Leathers

Ill cut straight to the chase. I was just wondering what is the best wool to use for Sharp/blunt protection? Is alpaca wool better or maffalo will better? Can some one super smart about the details of this two wools please post it! Thanks

Ok now leathers/Cloth. Is it better to grow a whole crop of Devilstrand or is it more effective to grow cloth/cotton for colthing to provide sharp/blunt protection? Please post details of both thanks!
