Or are the pawn names, stats and traits already put together?  So when you click it just pulls a pre-made pawn from a pool?  Thanks for the info!

I believe names and backgrounds are all preset. At least for some that are backers who got their own character in there. I also believe traits are random every time you see them pop up in the pawn generation screen. I think that after that they are locked . I could be wrong as I haven't actually researched it , but that is what seems to happen to me.

_ Names are random or backer's default names.

_ Stats are random too, but also depends on the years old of the character, the more old they are the more skills they have.

_ Trait is completely random iirc, but some can't not be at the same person, i.e cold and heat lover, brawler and 2 shooting traits, beautiful and ugly etc.

There are at least some presets that include at least one consistent trait. For instance, I've rolled Minyoung 'Min' Kim at least 5 times in A15c and every time she has been a Pop Idol with the Beautiful trait.

_ Should be, they are special characters in this game actually, like Tynan who's a bad magician lol

Looks like people have slightly different opinions on how random the character generation is.  Maybe Tynan will see this post and weigh in on this.  I'd prefer it to be truly random, except for the names so the backers get their credit.
