Starts raining, screen goes all white with dragging graphics, game doesn't load

Hello everyone.

So this has happened twice to me in two different games.

While I am playing, it starts raining, no big deal, but suddenly the rain graphics start to drag and from this dragging, the screens turns all white. I can still see the cursor (both times I had something selected) and I can see the square drag as well.

On the first game, since I always play on permadeath, I Quit and Save and when I tried to load an error occurred saying the map could not be loaded and to read the log, which was empty.

The second time, I pressed Alt+F4 (which, BTW allows you to exit without saving and load the last autosave). No good, since I also could not open the save.

I am attaching the last save as well as the output log.

Thanks for the reply.

I posted here because I thought it wasn't mod related. I also had checked these other issues, but I wasn't sure they were related.

I am going to try and solve the issue as recommended on the other topics and I will report back if it works or not.

Indeed, no problem, and I hope that something there works for you.

For future reference; if you have mods enabled, post in the "mod bugs" forum.
If the bug ends up being with the core game, and not a mod, the moderators are pretty good at quickly moving those threads to the main "bugs" forum.

Ok! Thank you very much.

As promised, I'm here to report back.

So, so far the game hasn't had any problems. It probably was related to the Multi-Analyzer and power lines as reported on the other topics. I installed the new version of the mod and it seems to work fine now.

Vitvox - Thanks for reporting back. I'll move this thread to mod bugs since that was the cause (I'll leave it open in case others encounter this problem in current/future versions. Plus threads in mod bugs don't get closed for some mysterious reason I have yet to be informed of).

@ nccvoyager - Thank you for your input and assistance once again (for the nth nth nth time).
