Has anybody tried this? It occurred to me that malari block could reduce psychite withdrawal symptoms while avoiding the highs and issues with flake or yayo use. Very similar to how buprenorphine or suboxone cuts opioid withdrawal from dangerous drugs like heroin or oxycodone, malari-block could be used to treat psychite addicts and help them stay on a sober path.

I may try this out and see... if malari block could take away the withdrawal symptoms while only increasing the "need" bar a little bit, then you could slowly wean somebody off their psychite addiction using it as a treatment.

Why would a malaria prevention medication help with a drug addiction?

I don't understand your thinking there. Malari-block is straight neutroamine, there are no psychite involved anyways...

When a colonist goes on a psychite eating spree, stock up on tons of malari block so that they are more likely to take it rather than snort yayo because malari-block has no addiction, as well as being classified as a "hard drug" in the defs. So it is technically classified as a "psychite".

This means that malari-block can also reduce cravings and possibly get rid of withdrawal symptoms.

I once had a colonist go on a drug binge and then eat insect jelly :P

If 666 is evil, does that make 25.8069758011 the root of all evil?

Why to people worry about following their heart? Its lodged in your chest, you won't accidentally leave it behind.

Its bad because reasons, and if you don't know the reasons, you are horrible. You cannot ask what the reasons are or else you doubt it. But the reasons are irrefutable. Logic.
