Events only possible since A16 (caravans)

Rule of thumb: if it's more fun as an event that happens on YOUR map, you shouldn't force it into a "caravan" event.

An outpost of an allied faction is attacked by pirates and asks you for help. (Looting items which used to belong to your ally lowers relation)

As your trade caravan arrives at an allied colony, pirates arrive and deploy mortars.

After kidnapping one of your colonists, pirates set up a temporary camp to lick their wounds and regroup. If you act quickly, you can send a rescue party.

An allied colony is struck with a disease / earthquake / another accident. If you send a party with a competent doctor, you will gain relation. (Tricky, because your doctor becomes temporarily unavailable).

A granary burnt down in allied colony. They will starve unless you send a food caravan.

One faction attacks colony of another nearby faction. The colony is wiped out (not that it currently has any impact, but it would set the stage).
