Despite being able to get wool and milk from various animals it still is not really great for when you want to build a normal farm.

I suggest adding:

Sheep - For wool and mutton
Basic Goats - For milk and goat
Just your basic Ducks - Eggs and Bird meat

Also remove chinchillas from jungle biomes as they are not jungle animals. they are mountainous/cold region animals.

Sounds great. Maybe some horses and oxen for caravans too and pigs for meat.

Pigs already exist (and, no, I don't mean boars.)

As to the topic in question, I imagine new animals will just keep appearing. The last time animals were added it was a whole bunch at the same time.

But my vote would be for llamas!

O Negative

Horses are scheduled for the A20 - Ride To Victory! You know, the one that features mountable animals ;)

Oxen (not bulls) for hauling and defending would be amazing, in my opinion. I see no argument against sheep for wool, since alpaca and other wooly animals don't get a different texture when they've been sheered.

Ha, one of the first posts I ever wrote on the forum was a very accurate explanation as to why you won't be seeing sheep in RimWorld. And if you did then you'd immediately wish you hadn't :D
