[A17]Premature Infection Death [Update - Not a bug]

I just rescued a colonist from an escape pod and treated his injuries only to find that later he had died from his infection. I checked his medical tab and it showed that his infection was only at 33% progress.

Attached is a screenshot with the infection status and the message stating that the prisoner died from an infection. The game was originally a permadeath save, but after this odd death, I turned off permadeath to investigate further.

Is there something I'm missing here?

Nevermind, I think I understand what happened. Seems that the infection brought the torso efficiency to 0% since torso was badly damaged already. Sorry about that!
