Toxic Fallout - Remove?

Wow, thread necromancy squared!

No need to modify the save file.  Just create a mod (see instructions at the beginning of this thread) removing the event.  Then load the mod and then load your save.  The game will whine "this mod doesn't go with this save" but you can ignore it, the save file will run anyway.
If you give an annoying colonist a parka before banishing him to the ice sheet you'll only get a -3 penalty instead of -5.

And don't forget that the pirates chasing a refugee are often better recruits than the refugee is.

I just make an edited scenario that disables the event.
